Eagles 18 points from Jae Crowder and Darius Johnson-Odom in the victory, and Junior Cadougan added 10 assists. Marquette 21 assists for 29 goals in a game and shot 53.7% from the field. The Eagles also nine of their 11 tries.
Marquette also held Providence 36,3% shooting in the game. Bryce led all scorers with Cotton's 26 points, including 15 in the second half, but made only eight of his 17 shots. Bench in Providence contributed just seven points on their efforts, and cotton, LaDontae Henton, and should the Council Vincent 51 72 points of the monks.
Providence in 40-39 halftime lead and led 46-43 early in the second period, but not after 12: 26 mark in the second half.
