# 23 Louisville vs. Pittsburgh final score: Cardinals download from Panthers for a 73-62 Win

The number 23 Louisville Cardinals defeat the Pittsburgh Panthers, 73-62, in Saturday night. The Panthers lost their last eight games.

21. Jan 2012-The Indians Louisville led to 14 points in the second half before settling on a 73-62 victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers on Saturday. Victory is the only Cardinals third in their last eight games. In the meantime, the Panthers, now lost eight games in a row.

Louisville struggled with injuries throughout the season, with eight different players missing time at some point in the season. Kyle Kuric and Chan Behanan led with 21, and 19 points, respectively, for the absence of Rakeem buckles, Mike Marra, Stephan Van Treese, and rookie Wayne Blackshear.

Print the Cardinals Defense had 12 steals--six from the sophomore guard Russ Smith – and forced the Panthers 18 turnovers in the night. Pittsburgh regained the lead at 6: 39 mark in the first half, shooting 45.8% from the field, compared with 47.3 percent for Louisville.

Ashton Gibbs had 14 points for the night, 4pro-10, than from the arc. Nasir Robinson contributed 12 points and seven rebounds, but also consisted of four turnovers. Louisville Center Gorgui Dieng had a monster game, with 14 rebounds and five blocked shots.
